[Book] The David Icke Guide to the Global Conspiracy (and How to End It)

I just finished this huge book (think of a 600-page college textbook) yesterday and it left quite an impression on me. It presents a far-different version of history than any of those I was presented with in schooling (or on The History Channel or Discovery, yup). Granted, it is not your average history by any means, but it sure is a lot more interesting. Granted, one needs a fairly open mind to even approach the material with anything but derision, too…something I more than qualify for.

While the idea of inter-dimensional space lizards controlling certain factions of the planet may be a bit too science-fiction for many (most?) to accept, it is a HELLUVA lot more fun than entertaining the idea that it is simply evil old men. EITHER way, you get certain families maintaining certain controls over you and I for a very, very long time. Icke is merely one of many worldviews I have been absorbing. I collect them. Matter-of-fact, his worldview is one of the most all-encompassing I have come across and that is saying A LOT. Certainly one of the most interesting, hands down.

I am not about to start acusing people of being space lizards, though. Apathetic behavior? Surely. Short-sighted mishandling of ‘the classes’? DEFINITELY. Collusion in secret? Beyond the shadow of a shade of a doubt. But space lizards? Only on Tuesdays.

The thing here is that I do not especially believe that space lizards have infiltrated the world; I understand the power of belief and this is not a scenario I wish to endorse. I AM HOWEVER VERY OPEN TO THE IDEA. Why? Because the world is not nearly so simple as it appears and this has been proven to me over and over again for 10 years. Not you, not anyone else can take this from me. My mind is wide freakin’ open and there is no ‘shutting’ it. Not after what I have experienced in this life.

The day you decide you know all there is to know of this world and start shutting off the possibility for things you don’t understand is the day you become an idiot. I chose a different path in 1998 and I choose a different path today, as I will tomorrow. It’s my path and I follow it where I like. Get over it. Find your own path. It rules.

I am not here to convince you of anything. I don’t need you to believe anything. In fact, this blog is aimed at ONE person and you are a guest here. Act like one, please.

(Inspired because it has come to my attention that Manda has been catching shit for what I read and find interest in…not only is this completely shitty behavior, it is unfair until you sit your ass down and read the same books, watch the same videos and do the same research. It’s always easier to point and be superior than to actually put forth effort, huh. LAME. Free your mind and that ass will follow….)
